About the Jury of UG Architecture Student Biennial

The professional jury includes the Georgian and foreign architects, designers and those who are professionally connected with the architecture and the design of the residential or public buildings.

The activities of the international professional jury and the number of its members are determined by the organizer of the Biennial  and the professional council. Two places of the jury are intended for the founders of the competition.

The activities of the international professional jury are coordinated by the organizer of the Biennial .

Work schedule of the international professional jury

UG Architecture Student Biennial  competition will be held with a special coded system. Each participating project in the competition is assigned a unique QR-code after uploading and confirming all files by the organizer. Each object presented on the web page, marked with its number, will be visually accessible to everyone. 

Each member of the international professional jury evaluates the presented material on the Biennial  website with a 10-point scale by secret voting. Each member of the professional jury has the right to vote only once.

During the process of evaluation, the public opinion will also be taken into account (evaluation of works by any member of society on the website of the competition).

The overall results of the evaluation (both by professional jury and public) will be summed up separately and automatically and reveal the winning objects.

3 winners will be announced in each nomination.

The results of the voting of the international professional jury are approved by the organizer of UG Architecture Student Biennial

In resolving controversial issues raised during the voting, the organizer of the Biennial makes the final decision.
